Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of the new musical Scotland, PA opened officially earlier this week on Wednesday, October 23. This will be a limited engagement at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). The new musical features a book by Michael Mitnick, music & lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Lonny Price and choreographed by Josh Rhodes.

Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway, one of NYC's best-loved and highly anticipated productions, is back this season after a five-year absence. Spoofs include Hadestown, Moulin Rouge, this season's Oklahoma! revival, The Ferryman, Tootsie, Beetlejuice, Frozen, the Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof,, Dear Evan Hansen, and the new generation of Broadway stars including Billy Porter, Santino Fontana, Karen Olivio, Alex Brightman and exciting turns by Bette Midler, Andre De Shields, Bernadette Peters, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and several surprises.

The Hayes Theatre was the place to be last night as Linda Vista, by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts (August: Osage County), officially opened on Broadway. Linda Vista is a brutally comedic look at Wheeler, a 50-year-old divorcee in the throes of a mid-life spiral.

The best of Broadway gathered at the Golden Theatre last night, October 6, to celebrate the arrival of Slave Play, the acclaimed new play by Jeremy O. Harris, directed by Robert O'Hara, opens tonight, October 6, at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre  was the place to be last night as Florian Zeller's new play, The Height of the Storm officially opened. Translated by two-time Tony Award Winner Christopher Hampton (Les Liaisons Dangereuses) and directed by Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee Jonathan Kent (Long Day's Journey into Night), the play features Olivier and Tony Award Winner Jonathan Pryce,  three-time Olivier Award Winner Eileen Atkins, Lucy Cohu, Amanda Drew, James Hillier and Lisa O'Hare.

Sea Wall / A Life, starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony Award nominee Tom Sturridge, opened officially last night, August 8, at the Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street). Written by Tony Award winner Simon Stephens and Olivier Award nominee Nick Payne and directed by Carrie Cracknell, the acclaimed production comes to Broadway following its sold-out engagement at The Public Theaterthis past spring where it had audiences roaring to their feet.

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre was the place to be last night as Moulin Rouge! officially opened on Broadway. Directed by Alex Timbers (Tony Award®-nominated for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Peter and the Starcatcher) Moulin Rouge! The Musical has a book by John Logan (Tony Award® for Red), choreography by Sonya Tayeh (Lucille Lortel Award and Obie Award for Kung Fu, and Emmy winner), and music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson).

Daylight come and the Broadway season's over! Beetlejuice officially opened last night at the Winter Garden Theatre, marking the end of the 2018-19 Broadway season. Directed by Alex Timbers, BEETLEJUICE stars Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman (School of Rock) in the title role, Two-Time Lortel Award nominee Sophia Anne Caruso(Lazarus) as Lydia, Tony Award nominee Kerry Butler (Mean Girls) as Barbara, Tony Award Nominee Rob McClure (Honeymoon In Vegas) as Adam, Obie Award Winner Adam Dannheisser (Rock of Ages) as Charles, and Two-Time Drama Desk Award Nominee Leslie Kritzer (The Robber Bridegroom) as Delia.

The final play of the 2018-19 Broadway season took its opening night bow last night at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Ink, written by Olivier Award winner James Graham and directed by two-time Olivier Award winner, Tony and BAFTA Award nominee Almeida Theatre Artistic Director Rupert Goold, made its American premiere via Manhattan Theatre Club and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the big night!

The Marquis Theatre was hoppin' last night, April 23, 2019, as Broadway welcomed one of the final musicals of the 2018-19 season. Tootsie, starring Santino Fontana, Lilli Cooper, Sarah Stiles, John Behlmann and more, celebrated its opening night at Pier 60 and BroadwayWorld was there!

The American Airlines Theatre was the place to be last night, as an Arthur Miller classic came back to Broadway! Roundabout Theatre Company just celebrated opening night of All My Sons, directed by Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien.

Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus officially opened on Broadway just last night, April 21, 2019. Starring three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane, Tony Award nominee Kristine Nielsen, and Tony Award winner Julie White, Gary is directed by five-time Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe. Featuring original music by Danny Elfman, and movement by Bill Irwin, Gary is set just after the blood-soaked conclusion of William Shakespeare's first tragedy, Titus Andronicus.
