TonightApril 18, 2014This spring, the Museum of Arts and Design presents its latest cinema series, Go Nightclubbing Archive, featuring selections from a historic video archive of the burgeoning New York punk scene from 1975 to 1980. In partnership with NYU's Fales Library, which recently acquired the archive, MAD will premiere ten individual screenings that draw from over 200 hours of remastered footage by Emily Armstrong and Pat Ivers.

Chloe Grace Moretz to Tackle an Alien Invasion in Film Adaptation of THE 5TH WAVEApril 15, 2014Sony Pictures Entertainment has closed a deal with Chloe Grace Moretz to star in the film adaptation of the bestselling novel The 5th Wave, it was announced today by Doug Belgrad, president of Columbia Pictures and Hannah Minghella, president of Production for the studio. An original approach to an alien invasion movie, the film will be directed by J Blakeson, with a screenplay by Susannah Grant, based on the book by Rick Yancey. Graham King will produce through GK Films along with Tobey Maguire and Matthew Plouffe through his Material Pictures.
