Linda Glick, veteran of the cabaret circuit, stopped by the Laurie Beechman Theater in Midtown Manhattan on 2/25 with a curated collection of tunes across languages and eras that Glick tied together with her witty banter and vocal talents.
1/10 saw a triple-billed concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center featuring Rodney Marsalis, Cantus, and Stephanie Chou. All three acts were quite different yet all were delightful.

Death of Classical's crypt sessions continued with a lovely performance by the Parker Quartet, joined by accomplished cellist Jay Campbell. The piece is often described as the accompaniment for a soul’s journey to heaven.
In some ways, a crypt underneath an active cathedral is the perfect place for a concert of liturgical music. As always, though, Death of Classical brought a unique flair to the evening, on top of the already-impressive venue choice.
