3K Pictures announces today that veteran sales agent Cassian Elwes is handling all North American rights to director Sam Kadi's debut political drama THE CITIZEN. The film was produced by Kadi, Chris Wyatt (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE) and Alan Noel Vega, with Ameer Kabour executive producing. The film is currently scheduled to screen for distributors during the Toronto Film Festival.

The show is set in the world of 1930's serial adventure stories like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, but with a very modern sense of humor. Upon arrival, the audience will be immersed in the world of a 1930's cinema, and the entire show (including the live portions!) is in black and white.
