Actors' Shakespeare Project has announced that the American Theatre Wing, best known as the creator of the Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards, is awarding the Company with one of the 2012 National Theatre Company grants.

In celebration of the 50 years of the legendary film icon James Bond, and in anticipation of the release of the 23rd James Bond adventure, Skyfall, in U.S. theaters on November 9, The Museum of Modern Art pays tribute with a full retrospective of all 22 Bond films-from Dr. No (1962) to Quantum of Solace (2008)-from October 5 through 31, 2012, in The Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters. 50 Years of James Bond is organized by Anne Morra, Associate Curator, Department of Film.

Olney Theatre Center, the award-winning, year-round arts and entertainment destination, announces the opening of the area premiere of Over the Tavern by Tom Dudzick. Over the Tavern will grace Olney Theatre Center's Mainstage from September 26 to October 21, 2012.

For ten days this fall, seven different groups present an exploration of the genres of horror through a multitude of performance disciplines at the 2012 Twin Cities Horror Festival at the Southern Theater. The festival features local theater, storytelling, dance and music artists presenting their take on the theme of "horror." The festival will present more than 30 performances over two weekends with a costume dance party and late night horror film showing on Halloween night.

First Run Theatre, a professional no-profit theatre company, is now accepting submissions of new full length and one act scripts for its 2012-2013 season until November 30, 2011. The submissions must be unpublished and unproduced scripts by St. Louis regional playwrights.

Ford's Theatre presents the Washington premiere of "Fly," by Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan, directed by Ricardo Khan, September 21 through October 21, 2012. The centerpiece of this year's programming for The Lincoln Legacy Project, "Fly" is based on the experiences of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II.

On October 27, 2012, Theodore Roosevelt's 154th birthday, he American Museum of Natural History will officially reopen the historic Theodore Roosevelt Memorial and the Hall of North American Mammals. The reopening launches a year of celebration of Theodore Roosevelt's dedication to nature and his instrumental role in fostering the American conservation movement, both of which were inspired by his lifelong association with the Museum.

In that spirit, Chicago's all-Latina theatre company bursts into its 12th season with the induction of a slew of new Latina talent.

Written by award-winning contemporary British writer Penelope Skinner (The Sound of Heavy Rain, Sheffield Theatres and Paines Plough's co-production) and directed by Jonathan Humphreys (Happy Days), The Village Bike is a daring and hilarious play about moving to the countryside, becoming parents and growing up.
