National Theatre Live begins its fourth season with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time based on Mark Haddon's beloved and award winning novel, adapted for the stage by Simon Stephens. Marianne Elliott (War Horse) directs this richly theatrical exploration of Haddon's touching and bleakly humorous story.

WAR HORSE is now Toronto's longest-running professional drama of all time. Performances began February 2, 2012, at the Princess of Wales Theatre and the show has since played 232 performances. The show's immense popularity has prompted an extension. WAR HORSE will now play until November 4, 2012 at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre. Theater scholar, artist, educator, curator, social activist and arts leader John Bell has been named Boston College's Rev. J. Donald Monan, S.J. Professor in Theatre Arts for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The Creative Writing Reading Series at Emory University kicks off Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. with two of the Creative Writing Program's postgraduate fellows in residence. Molly Brodak, Creative Writing Fellow in Poetry, and Harmony Neal, Creative Writing Fellow in Fiction, will give a joint reading of new work. A book signing will follow the reading.

Disney today announced that the touring production of THE LION KING will play the Birmingham Hippodrome from Saturday 29th June 2013 as part of its first-ever UK tour. The legendary musical, which premiered in Bristol on Friday 31st August will visit Birmingham for a three-month season, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the global phenomenon in their local theatre.

CANON IN D MINOR has been selected for the Fringe Encores Series following its New York premiere in the New York International Fringe Festival. Out of the 187 productions in this year's festival, CANON IN D MINOR is one of just 19 chosen for the series. The production will run at SoHo Playhouse for an additional five performances beginning Sept 15th.
