Acclaimed lyricist and songwriter Alan Bergman joins the program for the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Songbook series concert, Ann Hampton Callaway - The Streisand Songbook, at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Sunday, February 10, at 7:30 pm. Bergman is known for a myriad of hits, including Barbra Streisand's songs "The Way We Were," "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," and songs from her 1983 movie Yentl. He will sing some songs with Callaway in an evening that will take audiences on a journey through the timeless songbook of Streisand, including Callaway's own songs written for the legendary artist.

Broadway's A CHRISTMAS STORY has announced that Pete and Lily, two bloodhounds rescued and trained by animal trainer William Berloni, will make their Broadway debuts as the rambunctious Bumpus Hounds, who infamously set out to torment Ralphie's Old Man and disrupt Christmas dinner.

Beginning performances on Tuesday, October 16th, ALLI MAUZEY will return to the role of Glinda in the Broadway company of WICKED. Ms. Mauzey played the role of Glinda on Broadway in 2009 and returns to the Gershwin Theatre directly from WICKED'S National Tour.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced that it is the recipient of the Massachusetts' Cultural Council's Youth Reach Grant which will fund BTG PLAYS! partnering with JRC Youth. BTG PLAYS! with JRC Youth will provide twelve at-risk teens from Pittsfield's Juvenile Resource Center with theatre skills to build confidence and communication ability, and will train them to be assistant teachers/mentors for children in BTG playwriting residencies.

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has announced the winter/spring confirmed performances to take place at The Barns at Wolf Trap, the first scheduled for October 4 at 8 pm. This year's season features international stars from a wide array of musical backgrounds and genres, including classical, jazz, folk, bluegrass, pop, rock, world music, and more.
