Gray Line New York, New York City's premier double-decker bus, motorcoach and entertainment company, has announced today that multi award-winning actress and singer Vanessa Williams will be the next honoree in its prestigious Ride of Fame™ campaign. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, where a custom decal displaying Ms. Williams' likeness on the front of the vehicle will be unveiled, will take place on Thursday, September 27th at Pier 78 (455 12th Avenue at 38th Street) at 12 pm EST. The ceremony will coincide with Ms. Williams' debut in the pilot episode of ABC's newest drama "666 Park Avenue," premiering on Sunday, September 30th at 10 pm EST.

During the Los Angeles Philharmonic's 2012/13 season, four conductors will participate in the Dudamel Fellowship Program - Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla, Christopher Lees, Dietrich Paredes and Rafael Payare. Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, together with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, created the Dudamel Fellowship Program in 2009 to provide a unique opportunity for promising young conductors from around the world to develop their craft and enrich their musical experience through personal mentorship and participation in the LA Phil's orchestral, education and community programs.

As part of its Fall 2012/Spring 2013 Performing Arts Season, Japan Society proudly presents Kuromori Kagura, offering audiences an exclusive opportunity to experience the unique folk dance and music tradition from Tohoku, a culturally rich area in northeastern Japan that was deeply impacted by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. This extraordinary traditional program lands in New York as part of a four-city tour produced and organized by Japan Society, followed by stops in Middletown, CT (Wesleyan University); Philadelphia, PA (Philadelphia Museum of Art); and Baltimore, MD (Towson University). Kuromori Kagura plays two nights only at Japan Society (333 East 47th Street): Saturday, October 27 at 7:30pm and Sunday, October 28 at 5:30pm.
