American Repertory Ballet Announces its Emerging Artists Residency Program, 10/26 & 27September 26, 2012American Repertory Ballet will present its first 'Emerging Artist Showcase' with performances at 8:00 PM on Friday, October 26th, and Saturday, October 27th at Princeton Ballet School's Studio A, 301 North Harrison Street in the Princeton Shopping Center, above McCaffrey's Supermarket. The performances will feature choreography created and performed by the dancers of American Repertory Ballet and the ARB/Princeton Ballet School Trainee Program. While no one will be turned away at the door, a suggested donation of $10 will go directly to the artists.

This event features a star-studded tie-dyed cast of hilarious hippies for an evening filled with peace, love reading a psychedelic 1960's adaptation of Shakespeare's play that includes iconic music of the era. STAGE TUBE: Kelli O'Hara and NYFOS's Steven Blier Voice Support for the FSH SocietySeptember 25, 2012On September 24th, pianist Steven Blier headlined a benefit concert at the New York Botanical Gardens to raise funds for FSH Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD). The most common form of muscular dystrophy, FSHD has left Blier unable to walk. Sharing the stage with him was his friend Kelli O'Hara, the multi Tony award-nominated singer and actress who has entranced audiences in such Broadway hits as South Pacific, The Pajama Game and, currently, Nice Work If You Can Get It.
At the benefit event, the pair captivated the crowd with Gershwin, Sondheim and other classics from the American songbook, but they also had an urgent message to deliver through a new video, which appears below.
