The cast of HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, Off-Broadway's newest hit comedy, is set to preside over the closing bell at NASDAQ MarketSite this Monday, November 5th at 4 pm. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the 7-story-tall NASDAQ Tower looming over Times Square at Broadway & 43rd Street. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER officially opened October 17th to rave reviews at Sofia's Downstairs Theater, 221 West 46 Street (between Broadway & Eighth Ave.)

Tickets to WICKED, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Academy Award® winner for Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt) and book by Winnie Holzman ("My So Called Life," "Once And Again" and "thirtysomething") based on the best-selling 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire, will go on sale to the general public at the box office on Saturday, February 16, but groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets now by calling 1-866-31-GROUP (47687). Groups who purchase now will ensure great seats for this long-awaited South Bend premiere. Additionally, there is still time to become a season ticket holder to enjoy WICKED and all the shows on the 2012-2013 Broadway at The Morris Series in the best seats at the best prices with all the benefits of membership. Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that the official opening of Anton Chekhov's IVANOV has been postponed from this Sunday, November 4 to Thursday, November 15 due to the continuing power outage at the theater at 136 East 13th Street, which has forced the cancellation of five previews. Directed by Austin Pendleton, IVANOV stars Ethan Hawke, Joely Richardson and Juliet Rylance. The cast also features Glenn Fitzgerald, Annette Hunt, Stephanie Janssen, Roberta Maxwell, George Morfogen, James Patrick Nelson, Anthony Newfield, Austin Pendleton, Jonathan Marc Sherman, and Anne Troupe. IVANOV will play a limited engagement through Sunday, December 9.

The Hugo Boss Prize 2012 has been awarded to Danh Vo, announced Richard Armstrong, Director, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, and Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, Chairman and CEO, HUGO BOSS AG. Vo is the ninth artist to receive the biennial honor that was established in 1996 to recognize significant achievement in contemporary art. The prize carries an award of $100,000 and is administered by the Guggenheim Foundation. An exhibition of Vo's work will be on view at the Guggenheim Museum in spring 2013.
