Back by popular demand, The Moody Blues return to the State Theatre with their 2012 Tour: The Voyage Continues - Highway 45.

Arden Theatre Company, now celebrating its 25th Anniversary Season, begins its 15th year of Arden Children's Theatre with Cinderella. This version written by Charles Way and directed by Whit MacLaughlin will run from November 28, 2012 through January 27, 2013 on the Arden's F. Otto Haas Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street. Arden Children's Theatre is best enjoyed by families with children ages 5 and older.

The 10th Anniversary of Barter Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival (YPF) was an outstanding success breaking records in number of students participating and plays submitted. Over 400 students participated from nine area high schools with a total of 248 plays. On Monday, November 5, the winning plays were announced at two performances: a morning performance just for students and teachers and an evening performance for the community and parents.

Toronto-based theatre company Breathe.Feel.Love announced today that its production of the cult rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch will make its return to Toronto on January 9, 2013 for a three-week run at the Drake Underground.

The Stratford Festival's box office opens to Members on Monday, November 12, at 9 a.m., putting them first in line to purchase tickets for the 2013 season. A special advance online sale to Members will be offered on Sunday, November 11, beginning at noon. Sales to the general public begin January 5, with online advance sales beginning January 4.

Inspired by the most important scroll painting in Chinese art history - Along the River during the Qingming Festival, the Hong Kong Dance Company's (HKDC) epic dance spectacle QINGMING RIVERSIDE animates the masterpiece and brings to life a prosperous era of Chinese history. Painted between AD 1119 and 1125, Along the River during the Qingming Festival is a masterpiece by the imperial court painter Zhang Zeduan. The scroll painting reveals, in astounding detail, the busy and booming streets of the Northern Song Dynasty capital, Bianjing (now Kaifeng, Henan) and is currenlty in the collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing.

The new production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will now open on Broadway on Sunday, February 24, 2013, with previews set to begin January 24. Originally scheduled to preview January 21 and open on February 21, the new preview/opening date results from a production schedule that was delayed as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Signature Theatre has announced a second one-week extension for GOLDEN CHILD by David Henry Hwang, directed by Leigh Silverman. The production will now play through Sunday, December 16. The production is currently in previews and opens on November 13 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Multitalented entertainer and comedian, Jim Jefferies, has announced a new date for the highly-anticipated routine he will bring to Fox Theater, presented by Comix At Foxwoods. Jefferies will now perform one show on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 8 p.m., in place of the originally scheduled date of Dec. 1, 2012.
