Premiere Stages has announced new dates for the production of Talking to Westfield, part of Liberty Live, a new producing partnership with the Liberty Hall Museum, located on the campus of Kean University. Liberty Live dramatizes and celebrates the history that helped make New Jersey what it is today. Rescheduled performances will now be held December 7th-9th in the Little Theatre, located in the University Center on Kean University's main campus.

The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Patrick Willingham, Executive Director), in association with PEN American Center, will present a Public Forum program on Monday, December 3 on behalf of writers and artists who have been imprisoned speaking truth to power. THOUGHT IS FREE: An Evening of Protest and Solidarity will be hosted by Liev Schreiber and feature Carl Bernstein, Nathan Englander, Shirin Neshat, Lou Reed, and Salman Rushdie. This Holiday Season, Provision Theater Company, 1001 W. Roosevelt Road, is bringing back their original musical based on the award winning children's book, THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE OF JONATHAN TOOMEY, directed by Provision Theater Artistic Director Timothy Gregory and starring Provision Theater Company Member Susan Moniz and Chicago's James Rank. The production runs November 21 - December 23. Previews are Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 a.m. and Friday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. Beginning November 24, The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey will run through December 23 Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices include free parking and range from $10 to $32. The Grand Theatre will present "A Diva Holiday" December 6-10. An original script, written by Robin Wilkes-Dunn, Kevin Mathie, and Eric Jensen includes Christmas songs played by an 8-piece orchestra, and family friendly fun. Additionally, the cast includes some of the region's top female vocalists, including Erica Hansen, Alicia Washington, MacKenzie Seiler, Detorea Oliver, and Erica Walters. A charming narrator, played by Jonathan McBride, rounds out the cast and adds a traditional element to a new script.

Cleveland Orchestra violist Lisa Boyko will introduce children ages 3-6 to "The Vivacious Viola" in PNC Musical Rainbow concerts, held in Severance Hall's Reinberger Chamber Hall. Viola students from El Sistema@Rainey will perform with Ms. Boyko during the program. There will be one performance on Friday, November 30, at 10 a.m., and two Saturday performances, Saturday, December 1, at 10 a.m. and Saturday, December 1, at 11 a.m. Local actress and singer Maryann Nagel hosts the 30-minute programs for young children, which include narration, demonstration, short solo selections, and audience participation.

UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) will present a new Off-Broadway production of the 1969 musical comedy The Fig Leaves Are Falling. Featuring a book and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Allan Sherman (Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh) and music by Tony Award winner Albert Hague (Redhead, Plain and Fancy), The Fig Leaves Are Falling is revised and directed by Ben West (At Home Abroad, Make Mine Manhattan, Gatsby). Performances begin January 10, 2013 at the Connelly Theatre.

Following Second Skin Theatre's hit production of Quills by Doug Wright, the company celebrates the holiday season with a tale of a middle-class Christmas reunion that hastens a haunting. "N16's resident theatre company" (N16 Magazine) has commissioned local playwright Duncan Stevens to write a new adaptation of the BBC 1972 series The Exorcism, set on Stoke Newington Church Street and staged at the White Rabbit Theatre from November 28 to December 16.

Musical group FUN. and three-time GRAMMY winner Ne-Yo have been added to the lineup for 'The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown To Music's Biggest Night.' They join previously announced performers Luke Bryan and three-time GRAMMY-winning group Maroon 5. LL COOL J and Taylor Swift will co-host the one-hour concert special.
