Pittsburgh CLO is one of the few regional theaters selected by Disney to produce The Little Mermaid. From the depths of the sea to the shores of America, this rockin' season will also feature Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, a toe-tapping trip to the heart of 1950s rock and roll with the man, the music and the legend. This year, through special arrangement with The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh CLO Season Ticket Buyers will enjoy priority seating to Disney's The Lion King, part of the PNC Broadway Across America series. In addition to these spectacular headliners, CLO's 2013 season will also feature dynamic new productions of 42nd Street, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Kopit & Yeston's Phantom.

Pre-audition workshops for 'Completeness,' Itamar Moses' quirky romantic comedy, will be held at the Des Moines Community Playhouse at 6:00 PM, Sunday, Dec. 9; 6:30 PM, Monday, Dec. 10; and 6:30 PM, Tuesday, Dec. 11. Workshops will be led by John Viars, Playhouse executive director and director of 'Completeness.' Sunday and Monday pre-auditions are open to the public; Tuesday is by appointment only.

The tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Jacksonville! WEST SIDE STORY opens at the Times-Union Center's Moran Theater on Tuesday, December 4th and runs through Sunday, December 9th for 8 performances only! Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction is recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces new pre-show talk "Know the Show Before You Go" will be presented on select show performance nights* for the 2012-2013 PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh series. 'Know the Show' will be hosted by Chris Rawson, senior theater critic for KDKA-TV and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The Ford's Theatre Society announced that the cast of the 2012 production of "A Christmas Carol" is partnering with Martha's Table to create a donation drive inspired by the themes of charity in Dickens's holiday classic. During the curtain calls for performances of "A Christmas Carol," the cast will collect monetary donations on behalf of the Washington-based non-profit Martha's Table. Patrons can also make donations through the Ford's Theatre Box Office. All donation checks should be made payable to "Martha's Table." "A Christmas Carol" plays at Ford's Theatre from November 16 through December 30, 2012.

New York City Council member Melissa Mark -Viverito and bandleader/musician/composer Aurora Flores will join Clef Stage owners, Zeitlin Perez and Daniella Silverio in a ribbon cutting ceremony. Media, clients and council officials are expected at this much anticipated event. The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel will usher in the holiday season with Steve Tyrell at the Café Carlyle. His new show and tribute to Sammy Cahn, Christmas at the Carlyle: The Songs of Sammy Cahn, features songs from the famed songwriter whose music continues to inspire generations today. Songs from the engagement will be included in the forthcoming Concord release, 'It's Magic, the Songs of Sammy Cahn' due out spring 2013. Mr. Tyrell will open at the Café Carlyle on November 27th and play through December 31st.

Kyle DeSantis, Executive Producer of Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, announced today that Broadway actor Tony Yazbeck will take over the role of "Don Lockwood" in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, replacing Sean Palmer who suffered an injury. The production, which is currently in previews, will now have its press opening on Friday, Nov. 30 at 8:30pm. Yazbeck will go into the production on Wednesday, November 21.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) in partnership with the Montgomery County Public Schools announces OrchLab, a music-in-schools program for elementary, middle and high school students in Montgomery County. OrchLab was created to enrich the instrumental music program in schools within the MCPS system that have the greatest need, as well as to provide professional development opportunities for MCPS music instructors. For the 2012-2013 academic year, OrchLab will be piloted in 23 of the schools located in the Downcounty and Northeast Consortia of the MCPS System.

Internationally acclaimed jewelry designer Marco Bicego of Italy will make a rare public appearance at James Free Jewelers in Montgomery, Ohio on Friday, November 16 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. It will be one of just two such appearances during Bicego's current visit to the United States.

Black Ensemble Theater presents the return of holiday favorite The Other Cinderella, written, produced and directed by Black Ensemble Theater Founder and CEO Jackie Taylor, with choreography by Rueben Echoles. The Other Cinderella will be presented at the new Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center, 4450 N. Clark Street in Chicago, November 29 - January 13.
