The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award®, will hold a symposium on site-specific and immersive theatre in conjunction with the National Theatre of Scotland's The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, STC's first site-specific work. The symposium, part of STC's AsidesLIVE programming series, will take place Tuesday, December 4, from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. in The Forum in Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for subscribers and $5 for students.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) presents the fourth annual MITF Symposium on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 6pm at The June Havoc Theatre in the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 W 36th St., first floor, NYC. And now for something completely different! The next offering on the Kitchen Theatre's 22nd Main Stage season is a world premiere by award winning playwright, actor and HBO Def Poet Brian Dykstra*. A solo performance that combines standup comedy with storytelling, rabble rousing and down-home preaching, Brian Dykstra Selling Out runs November 28th to December 16th at the Kitchen Theatre in downtown Ithaca. Previews are November 28, 29, and 30, Opening Night is December 1st, and performances continue through December 16, 2012.

A touch of Broadway is coming to the Manatee Players to bring us an extended holiday season! The high-energy song and tap duo "Two On Tap" will return to the Manatee Players just in time to celebrate the New Year. "Two On Tap" are Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano.

The Den Theatre will present a remount of TurnAround Theatre's original hit production of Brian Friel's FAITH HEALER, 17 years after the critically acclaimed show played to sold-out houses at TurnAround and Steppenwolf Theatres. Original cast members Brad Armacost, Lia D. Mortensen and Si Osborne return for the remount, which features the original direction by J.R. Sullivan. FAITH HEALER will play December 19, 2012 - January 20, 2013 on The Den Theatre's main stage, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park. Tickets are currently available at www.brownpapertickets.com. The press opening will be Thursday, December 20 at 7:30 pm.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) SuperPops and baritone Daniel Narducci, star of stage and screen, will be ringing in the holiday season at the Music Center at Strathmore on Wednesday, December 12 at 8 p.m. and at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Thursday, December 13 at 2 p.m., Friday December 14 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday December 15 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday December 16 2102 at 2 p.m. Under the direction of conductor Robert Bernhardt, this Holiday Pops Celebration will feature the Baltimore Choral Arts Society and the Anacrusis Handbell Ensemble in a program of carols, classic holiday favorites, sing-alongs and even a special guest from the North Pole. Jump for Joy Productions presents Adam Bock's comedy The Drunken City at The WorkShop Theater (312 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Ave., Subway: A/C/E or 1/2/3 to 34th St.) November 30th through December 16th. Misti B. Wills (In Search of Euphoria, New World Stages) will direct.

Seattle-based songwriter, producer, musician, and composer Jherek Bischoff will headline Seattle's Moore Theatre on December 1st, performing songs from his critically acclaimed album Composed with help from a full orchestra and a slew of just-announced special guest singers: Zola Jesus, Mirah, Zac Pennington (Parenthetical Girls), Soko, Jason Webley and Tomo Nakayama. This is his first Seattle-area headlining show since the release of the album in June.

The Theater for the New City with the support of Spain Culture New York-Consulate General of Spain presents The New Stage Theatre Company's Garden of Delights, written by Fernando Arrabal and directed by Ildiko Nemeth (NY Innovative Theatre Award nominee), with original music by Jon Gilbert Leavitt (Outmusic Award winner). Garden of Delights runs from November 15 to December 2, 2012 in a limited engagement at Theater for the New City's Johnson Theater, located at 155 First Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets in New York City. Previews begin November 15 for a November 17 opening.

On December 1 and 2, Hans Graf and the Houston Symphony will welcome internationally renowned pianist Martin Helmchen in an evening of serenely powerful music. Schumann's beautifully romantic Piano Concerto will open the program and will be followed by Bruckner's 6th Symphony.

MARY POPPINS celebrates its sixth anniversary today, November 16, 2012. It began previews at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street) on October 14, 2006 before officially opening on November 16, 2006.

Mumford & Sons are featured in an encore presentation of Austin City Limits (ACL) airing November 17 on PBS. The British folk band with a huge stateside following are riding high with the bestselling Babel, one of the biggest releases of 2012. The episode, which originally aired in October 2011, finds Mumford & Sons making their Austin City Limits debut and is a must-see for fans and a primer for those new to the band's cathartic live shows. Highlights include a performance of their current single "Lover of the Light," which at the time had not been recorded. The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today the lineup for the 21st edition of SPANISH CINEMA NOW, December 7-16, featuring the latest, most exciting films from Spain, as well as a salute to surrealist master, Luis Buñuel.

The Wagner College Theatre will stage David Ives' "School for Lies" from Nov. 27 through Dec. 2 in its Stage One studio theater. The show will be directed by Staten Island theater mainstay and Wagner College faculty member Mickey Tennenbaum.
