Hard Rock Cafes in Las Vegas, NV are teaming up with Vegas entertainers to kick off the official season of giving. Las Vegas entertainers are participating by wearing a charity bracelet for one night in November, in support of the Hard Rock International's 2012 global IMAGINE THERE'S NO HUNGER campaign to combat childhood hunger and poverty around the world.

The Sundance Institute Theatre Program announced the acting company and collaborators for the three projects being developed at its Fall Lab, which begins today at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). Under the supervision of Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of the Theatre Program, and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the two-week Lab provides creative support and direction for innovative musical theatre and ensemble-generated projects.

Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse, an innovative multi-media and multi-disciplinary production created by Normand Latourelle, one of the co-founders of famed Cirque du Soleil, announces the addition of two more cities to its debut tour of Australia. The hilarious holiday musical sequel to the record-breaking FOREVER PLAID, PLAID TIDINGS, entertains Theatre at the Center audiences November 15 through December 23 at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster. The press performance will be November 18 at 7 p.m. Stuffed with such "Plaid-erized" Christmas standards as "Mr. Santa," "Let It Snow" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," PLAID TIDINGS is one holiday treat that is truly heaven-sent. The Chicago Jazz Orchestra (CJO) has been chosen to perform at the 35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors Gala this Sun., December 2, in Washington, D.C. This performance marks the 24th straight year that the CJO has been awarded this singular performance honor.
