Broadway In Chicago has announced that after a highly successful bout on Broadway, Mike Tyson revealed today that he will take his acclaimed one-man show, MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH, on a national tour which will stop in Chicago for three performances only, February 15-17, 2013, at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph St.). Helmed by renowned director Spike Lee and producer James L. Nederlander, the tour is set to begin February 2013. Tickets for the Chicago engagement will go on sale to the public on Friday, December 7, 2012.

Set to take place over 19 days beginning this January; the tour will kick off with three-nights of Umphrey's McGee in North Carolina and will continue through a series of mid-west and northeast dates before heading south for a headlining performance at the Georgia Theater and Aura Music Festival. A band to watch in 2013, the five piece project is making major headway in the electronic music genre.

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Rocco Landesman announced today that RIOULT Dance New York is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. RIOULT Dance New York is recommended for a $10,000 grant to support the creation of a new work in 2013.

The Brooklyn Museum will be the only East Coast venue for The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, the first international exhibition dedicated to the groundbreaking French couturier, organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The critically acclaimed touring show, already seen by half a million people, spans the Paris-based designer's 37-year career and includes iconic examples never before exhibited. The Brooklyn presentation will include new material not shown in the previous venues, including ensembles from his recent runway shows.

Broadway and film star Robby Benson and Tony nominee Josh Young are set to star in the upcoming special invitational presentation of selections from the original new musical AMAZING GRACE, with music & lyrics by Christopher Smith and book by Mr. Smith & Arthur Giron, December 11th and 12th at Lincoln Center's Clark Studio Theater. AMAZING GRACE has been in development over the past four years and the musical had a record-breaking run at Goodpeed's Norma Terris Theatre last summer. Under the direction of Gabriel Barre, the cast will also feature Whitney Bashor (The Fantasticks, Happy Days), Chris Hoch (Beauty and the Beast, Spamalot), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime, Memphis), and Harriett D. Foy (Mamma Mia!, Once on This Island).

After a highly successful bout on Broadway, Mike Tyson announced today that he will bring his acclaimed one-man show, "MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH," to San Francisco. Helmed by renowned director Spike Lee and producer James L. Nederlander, the show will play the SHN Orpheum Theatre for a strictly limited six show engagement, beginning February 26, 2013. The performances are part of a larger three month national tour, set to visit more than 36 cities.

Associate Conductor and chorusmaster John Finney returns to once again lead Handel and Haydn Society in a holiday celebration of Bach's music. The Christmas Oratorio continues Handel and Haydn's holiday tradition of bringing the finest gems by Bach following the annual performances of Messiah. The Boston Globe described the 2011 Bach holiday concert as "a whirlwind sleigh ride that even Santa might envy" and in 2010 pronounced that "the music of Johann Sebastian Bach is nearly as crucial to Christmas as Santa Claus, Salvation Army bell-ringers, and eggnog."

Karole Armitage returns to New York Live Arts with the world premiere of Mechanics of the Dance Machine, her first presentation at the venue since the premiere of her groundbreaking work Drastic-Classicism at Dance Theater Workshop in 1981. Set to selections of Concerto for Turntables and Orchestra, an urban symphony by DJ/composer Gabriel Prokofiev (grandson of Sergei Prokofiev), Mechanics of the Dance Machine mixes pointe work with fractal geometry, improvisation and contemporary practices. Armitage will invite the audience onstage to experience the movement up close. Lighting cues will guide the audience as the work expands from gripping duets to pulsing group works.
