Octavarius, the first independent company to host an open-ended run at the 130-seat ComedySportz Theatre (929 W. A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens is based on the beloved children's book, A Ghost Tale For Christmas Time, by bestselling local author Mary Pope Osborne! Jack and Annie are whisked back in time to Victorian England and the foggy streets of London where they discover that Charles Dickens is haunted by sad memories and has vowed never to write another book. With a bit of magic and the help of three ghosts, the kids are able to inspire Mr. Dickens to write his most beloved tale: A Christmas Carol!

Hartford Children's Theatre to Take Final Bow at the End of This YearDecember 4, 2012Hartford Children's Theatre (HCT) announced today they will close and end all programming, including their children's theatre educational programs, at the end of December 2012.
