Widely regarded as one of the most talented virtuoso pianists performing today, Yefim Bronfman performs at Emory's Schwartz Center for Performing Arts on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m. In this solo recital, Bronfman will perform Arabeske in C Major, op. 18 by Robert Schumann; Sonata No. 3 in F Minor, op. 5 by Johannes Brahms; Sergey Prokofiev's Sonata No. 8 in B-flat Major, op. 84; and Sisar (New Work) by Esa-Pekka Salonen.

HT Presents (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Executive Director) will present THEATER IN ASYLUM's (TIA) World Premiere production of ¡Olé!, conceived and directed by Paul Bedard, using text from poems, letters, and other works by Salvador Dalí and Federico Garcia Lorca. The production will feature Jake Lasser, Sofia Lund, and Ben Otto with an Original Score by Randall Benichak, Costume Design by Karli Brae, Dramaturgy by Samantha Keogh and Jake Lasser, Choreography by Katie Palmer, Scenic Design by Walter Ryon, and Lighting Design by Dan Stearns. The production will be Stage Managed by Kelly Colburn and Produced by Kathryn Appleton.

Seattle Shakespeare Company will present a revival of its popular trailer park The Taming of the Shrew at the Playhouse at Seattle Center, April 25 through May 12, 2013. Many of the cast members from the original production will reprise their roles including Kelly Kitchens as Kate and David Quicksall as Petruchio. Directed by Aimée Bruneau, the production will also serve as a launch to the 20th Anniversary celebration of Wooden O in the summer of 2013.

Koch (US, 2012, 95 min.) will receive its New York City premiere at the New York Jewish Film Festival at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater on Thursday, January 10 at 6 pm and Sunday, January 13 at 3:30 pm. Ed Koch and Neil Barsky, director of the film, will participate in a Q&A session following the January 13 screening. The 22nd annual New York Jewish Film Festival, presented by The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center from January 9 to 24, 2013, includes 45 features and shorts from 9 countries.

First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83) presents the witty comedy JEEVES TAKES A BOW, previewing January 30; opening Saturday, February 2 at 8 p.m.; and running through March 3. Directed by Jeff Award nominee Alison C. Vesely (First Folio's A Moon for the Misbegotten), the cast of First Folio's 2009 production Jeeves in Bloom will reprise their roles in JEEVES TAKES A BOW, starring Jim McCance as "Jeeves" and Christian Gray (The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe and Romeo & Juliet at First Folio Theatre, The Glass Menagerie at Oak Park Festival Theatre) as "Bertie."

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Southern California premiere of The Brothers Size by award-winning playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney. Directed by Tea Alagi?, The Brothers Size will run Jan. 26 - Feb. 24, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Jan. 26 - Jan. 30. The University Glee Club of New York City, the venerable all-men's choir established over a century ago to encourage male singing of the highest excellence, returns to Carnegie Hall to launch its 120th anniversary on Friday, January 18, at 7 p.m. Conducted by Francisco J. Núñez, the fifth conductor in UGC's history, the concert also features the gorgeously rich sounds of two other esteemed men's choirs, the Harvard Glee Club and the U.S. Naval Academy Men's Glee Club, as well as the Solisti Ensemble, an 11-piece string ensemble.
