Know Theatre has announced When The Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell, acclaimed Australian playwright and author of Speaking in Tongues (recently seen at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2012). Time Out Magazine's Best New Play of 2010, When the Rain Stops Falling opens on February 8, 2013 and runs through March 16, 2013. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips will direct the production, with scenic and lighting design by Andrew Hungerford, costume design by Noelle Wedig, and sound design by Doug Borntrager.

Nine time Grammy Award winner, Natalie Cole will return to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on January 24, 2013. Good Theater has received a $5,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation to assist with the upcoming production of DEATH BY DESIGN. DEATH BY DESIGN will receive its East Coast premiere at Good Theater opening January 30 and running through February 24. New York playwright, Rob Urbinati, is the author of DEATH BY DESIGN.

Applications are now available for the 2013 Pittsburgh CLO Summer Internship Program. The Summer Internship Program runs approximately 10 weeks beginning in mid-May to early August, depending upon the internship being applied for, and affords students 18 years of age and older the opportunity to work one-on-one with musical theater industry professionals.

Infused with elements of classic rock'n'roll, 90s alternative rock and modern indie elements, Midnight Spin will release their debut album Don't Let Me Sleep today. In conjunction with the albums' release, we are giving away the title track 'Don't Let Me Sleep,' which just premiered on Rolling Stone. 'The song was sort of a prayer-like plea just hoping I could literally stay awake long enough to finish making the album, ' says Midnight Spin's lead singer Mike Corbett. 'I wrote the lyrics around 3 A.M. one night and recorded the vocals at the studio a few hours later.'

The Katselas Theatre Company and Rogue Machine will present an extended run of the current hit, DIRTY FILTHY LOVE STORY (CRITIC'S CHOICE-LA Times). The popular Skylight Theatre is the new venue for the show as Rogue Machine and The Katselas Theatre Company prepare for their 2013 season. Perseverance Theatre's second Anchorage season continues with the world premiere musical Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls. Impro Theatre (Dan O'Connor, Artistic Director) has announced a return engagement of Jane Austen Unscripted, directed by O'Connor and Paul Rogan, with preview performances beginning on Friday, February 8 at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre (upstairs at The Pasadena Playhouse) in Pasadena. The opening night of Jane Austen Unscripted is set for Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14, at 8:00. Performances will continue through April 14 only.

Broadway Palm presents the family classic The Sound of Music playing February 21 through April 6, 2013. This endearing musical is based on the book The Story of the Trapp Family Singers and the 1965 film starred Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer.
