Storm King Art Center today announced a second season of the critically acclaimed exhibition Mark di Suvero at Governors Island: Presented by Storm King Art Center. Opening on May 26, 2012, the exhibition features two works not included last summer: a new sculpture, titled Dreamcatcher, which has never been on public view, and Chonk On (2002), which Mr. di Suvero has painted red especially for the exhibition. In addition, viewers will discover fresh perspectives on select works that Storm King and the artist are relocating on the 172-acre Island, a former military base that is now a vibrant public space.

PlayhouseSquare's Senior Vice President of Theater Operations Gina Vernaci has been elected President of the Independent Presenters Network {IPN} at the semi-annual conference in Tampa, FL. Vernaci will serve a two-year term - the first woman to hold that position and only the fourth president in the organization's 20-year existence. IPN's slate of officers include Rich Baker (Fox Associates, St. Louis) and Norbert Mongeon (Providence Center, Rhode Island).

The Fountain Theatre and Deaf West Theatre have announced a four-week extension of Cyrano, a signed/spoken adaptation of "Cyrano de Bergerac" that has been re-set in modern-day Los Angeles. The Fountain/Deaf West co-production will continue Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm through July 8.
