Orange County movie fans can look forward to another great summer of free and fun film screenings at Segerstrom Center for the Arts as Movie Mondays returns for its eighth season on the Arts Plaza. Movie Mondays 2014 kicks off with the heartwarming 1935 classic The Little Colonel, starring Shirley Temple. From post Civil War America we head to 1990s London with the sparkling Spice Girls starring in the jet set musical, Spice World. Then it is off to turn-of-the-20th century Paris with the Academy Award®-winning musical Gigi, directed by Vincente Minnelli and featuring some of the most memorable Lerner & Loewe tunes. Continuing with the winner of this year's Audience Favorite Fan Poll, Cabaret, starring Oscar winners Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey. Shirley MacLaine as the eternal optimist in Sweet Charity wraps up the summer film series. Center audiences will have a chance to see MacLaine live when she makes her Center debut on September 20 in her one-woman show.

Griffin Dunne, the actor and director best known for his starring role in Martin Scorsese's After Hours, gives one of the finest performances of his career in the bittersweet new independent comedy The Discoverers, directed by Justin Schwarz. In this special double-feature event at Museum of the Moving Image, Dunne and Schwarz will appear in person to discuss both films. Tickets are $20 for the public and $12 for Museum members. The Folger Shakespeare Library hosts a preview screening of the inspiring new documentary Still Dreaming from the filmmakers who brought us Shakespeare Behind Bars (Philomath Films) and featuring the co-directors of New York's highly-acclaimed Fiasco Theater (currently on stage at the Folger with The Two Gentlemen of Verona through May 25). The advanced screening will take place on Monday, May 19 at 7:00pm at the Folger Theatre.

THE ROOF, the brand new 3620 degree performance, directed by David Rosenberg (co-founder of Shunt) and Frauke Requardt, their third collaboration following Electric Hotel (also a Fuel production) and Motor Show, will run at the Doon Street Car Park 30 May - 28 June 2014. Preview performances (30 May - 8 June) are Monday-Saturday at 9:30pm. The Texas State Premiere of the award-winning wildlife rescue documentary Lion Ark - about the rescue of 25 lions - will be given extra bite as the event is to raise funds to send the team back to South America to save dozens of animals suffering in illegal circuses.

The dramatic live action rescue documentary Lion Ark brought its tally of awards to six at Palm Beach International Film Festival winning the audience vote for Best Documentary in a field of 28 documentaries. In its 19th year, the Palm Beach International Film Festival featured 165 films, closing with Jason Priestley introducing Cas & Dylan, which he directed, starring Richard Dreyfuss.

The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts have partnered with Tribeca Film Institute® (TFI) for the second time to present April's Midnight Moment. This month's film, Local/Express, is made by some of the 20 participants in this year's Tribeca Film Fellows® program, a year-long fellowship for New York City students aged 16-18. The film will premiere on Times Square's spectacular billboards just before midnight on Wednesday, April 1st, and play every night throughout April from 11:57 p.m.-midnight.

On the centennial anniversary of the legendary Academy Award winner Budd Schulberg's birth, Gersh announced today that they have signed a deal with his widow Betsy Schulberg to represent the estate of the late author and screenwriter. Though Schulberg died in 2009 at the noble age of 95, the impact of his writings and the legacy of his works are as alive today as ever during his lifetime. Gersh and Betsy Schulberg will work together to shepherd the multiple adaptations and revivals currently in preparation.

11F are proud to present WOMEN OF TWILIGHT by Sylvia Rayman. In this blisteringly effective 'all-women' play, a group of unmarried mothers are ruthlessly exploited by their baby-farming landlady. Women of Twilight was a theatrical sensation in the 1950s and also became a film. Now, after some 60 years, the play returns in a stunning revival from 11F. Originally seen at the White Bear Theatre, Women of Twilight transfers to Pleasance London (Main House) in April 2014.
