Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, opens its 24th Season with the Southeastern premiere of Ghost The Musical at the Theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Performances have limited run dates for three weeks only from September 15th through October 2nd, 2016, Wednesdays through Sundays. Portland Center Stage at The Armory's 2016-2017 season kicks off with the hilarious and rockin' sci-fi musical, Little Shop of Horrors, based on the film by Roger Corman, with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken. My Fair Lady officially opened at the Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House, on 6 September, 2016, and is running for a strictly limited season. This new production, which recreates the original 1956 Broadway one, is directed by the actress who created the role of Eliza Doolittle in the original production, the world-renowned actor and director Dame Julie Andrews.

The Ballet Hispanico Company from New York is coming for the first time to Israel to open the Herzliya Performing Arts Center's 2016-17 dance series. The company will have 4 performances at the arts center, followed by additional performances in Beer Sheva, Jerusalem, Haifa and Modi'in.

Young French Superstar Maxime Pascal visits the opera again, directing the Friday concert ravel and bartok. Today is also the first time it was presented in the new orkestersalen!
