TheatreWorks Silicon Valley brings U.S. audiences their first look a London hit with the American Premiere of the joyous musical revue The Life of the Party. Directed and co-created byDavid Babani, the Artistic Director of London's Menier Chocolate Factory, this rollicking musical journey celebrates the songs of Tony Award-nominated composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family, Big Fish) who takes the stage as a featured performer, along with a cast of Broadway and West End veterans, bringing to life a hilarious, uplifting, memorable evening. My Fair Lady officially opened at the Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House, on 6 September, 2016, and is running for a strictly limited season. This new production, which recreates the original 1956 Broadway one, is directed by the actress who created the role of Eliza Doolittle in the original production, the world-renowned actor and director Dame Julie Andrews.

The Ballet Hispanico Company from New York is coming for the first time to Israel to open the Herzliya Performing Arts Center's 2016-17 dance series. The company will have 4 performances at the arts center, followed by additional performances in Beer Sheva, Jerusalem, Haifa and Modi'in.

Young French Superstar Maxime Pascal visits the opera again, directing the Friday concert ravel and bartok. Today is also the first time it was presented in the new orkestersalen!

Today, theatre students of Gahanna Lincoln High School in Columbus, Ohio (with Director Cynthia Macioce) had a rare treat when members of the touring company of WICKED visited them to offer an informative talkback on the makings of a touring production. The talkback was open to members of Gahanna Lincoln High School's International Thespian Society, whose Vice President, Camille Mancuso, orchestrated the event based on her previous professional experience on tour and on Broadway.

The cast and creative team is set for Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman's revival of WONDERFUL TOWN - Leonard Bernstein's classic musical that with lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and book by Joseph Fieldsand Jerome Chodorov.  Watch highlights of the show below!

The U.S. premiere of Nick Dear's adaptation Frankenstein will be directed by Sam Buntrock, returning to the DCPA Theatre Company after directing the 2013 World Premiere of Ed, Downloaded. Buntrock's directing credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Broadway, West End, Menier and 5th Avenue Seattle). It's the only stage collaboration between two masters of American musical theatre, Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin). Fulfilling its Music Director/Founder's dream of uniting the Yosemite National Park Gateway communities and also celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service in a truly special way, the Mariposa Symphony Orchestra (MSO) embarked on an historic five-county tour of those gateway communities in 2016. Les Marsden's evening-length four-movement symphonic cycle titled “Our Nation's Nature” was performed by the MSO under that work's composer in seven concerts in Mariposa County, Madera County, Merced County, Tuolumne County, Mono County and two unprecedented concerts in Yosemite National Park itself. While dedicated overall to the NPS Centennial, 'Our Nation's Nature' consists of four movements, each of which commemorates an important anniversary significant to Yosemite, America's great outdoors and the National Park Service:
