Silhouette Stages, Inc. announces the regional premiere production of the celebrated musical within a comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone on May 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 8 pm and May 23 and 30 at 3 pm. All performances will take place at Slayton House on 14100 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, MD 21044. Conni Ross and Debra Mobley direct this modern masterpiece with choreography by Lori Pryor and Timoth David Copney and music direction by Keith Tittermary. Tickets are $15 or $12 for students and seniors and will be sold at the door.

In celebration of the success, AEG Live and Paris Las Vegas are pleased to announce 18 new performance dates from August 20 - October 24. Tickets for Manilow's new, reimagined stage show that is both more intimate and more exciting than ever before go on sale May 22 at 10 a.m. Manilow is currently performing 78 shows a year for two years at the Paris Théâtre at Paris Las Vegas. La MaMa Moves!, which is dancing into its fifth year has a dance card that is the envy of the ball. It's filled with names such as Sara Rudner, Rashaun Mitchell, John Kelly, Ellen Fisher, Judith Sanchez Ruiz, John Scott, Jennifer Monson, and Doug Elkins--in all, over 75 different performers, many of whom are appearing at La MaMa for the first time, and some of whom will be crossing the pond just for a chance to dance on one of its venerable stages. Each story illuminates intimate, personal conflicts amidst massive cultural shifts, whether it is within the family unit (Southern US during the 1950's), the local African American community (Northern US in the 1990's) or the entire nation (late 19th century Russia).
