In a warm-up for West End Live, Emma Hatton - London's current standby Elphaba - performed 'The Wizard and I' at Cardinal Place, near to Wicked's home at the Apollo Victoria! Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students at Shiz University: the blonde and very popular Glinda and a misunderstood green girl named Elphaba.

Special guest Louise Dearman performed 'Let It Go' at West End Live this weekend! Dearman has recently starred in The Water Babies, and is probably best known for being the first woman to play Elphaba AND Glinda in Wicked!

A comedy from the cobbles of Lancashire, set to the sights and sounds of the sixties, Mark Benton plays bombastic boot-shop owner Henry Horatio Hobson. When his 'plain' daughter, Maggie (Jodie McNee) becomes intent on marrying long-suffering boot-maker Willie Mossop (Karl Davies), Hobson's future looks uncertain. Directed by David Grindley, Daytona will begin performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 28 June and will complete its strictly limited 8 week run on 23 August 2014. Press night is on 7 July 2014. Daytona received its world premiere at London's Park Theatre in 2013 and this production marks the Theatre Royal Haymarket's first collaboration with an off West End theatre venue.

Brid Brennan's about to make her debut at the Open Air Theatre in All My Sons, and unsurprisingly she's looking forward to it. She's worked outside at the Globe before, but Regent's Park is an entirely different matter.

It's the start of the UK tour of 20th Century Boy, and Warren Sollars is euphoric. 'It's going really great. Everyone's really excited - it's the start of the tour, and we're getting great receptions. We're looking forward to bringing it to different parts of the country.'
