Atlantic for Kids' 2017-2018 Season will open Saturday, September 16 with the family musical Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical, inspired by Ruby Bridges and the Little Rock Nine featuring music by Greg Borowsky and Douglas Lyons, lyrics and concept by Douglas Lyons, book by Melvin Tunstall III and direction by Tamilla Woodard.

'An Energy Tale", a new children's play by Anthony J. Piccione, as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival, premieres on August 4th at 12pm and August 5th and 6th at 11am. Scroll down for a sneak peek at the company in rehearsal!

The first family musical about disability, Addy & Uno, features concept and book by Nava R. Silton, Ph.D., music and lyrics by Bonnie Gleicher, and will be directed by the Emmy-nominated Donna Drake (John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean and Netflix's Julie's Greenroom).

The 2017 Children's Musical Theater Festival took place July 15-16 in New York City at The Baruch Performing Arts Center. This summer, Theatreworks USA, the nation's leading not-for-profit professional theatre for young audiences, will present the Off-Broadway Premiere of the new musical PETE THE CAT. It will begin performances tonight, July 19, and run through August 18, with its benefit opening on July 25 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson Streets).
