On Friday, Emmy Award-winning composer/pianist Jace Vek will present the second in his ‘Jace Vek Experience' series, with virtuoso cellist Jonah Kim as his invited guest. And on Saturday evening, October 22nd, beloved jazz icon Jessie Jones, Jr. will return to Arts Garage to perform his unique blend of jazz, fusion, and funk in the second of this season's Jazz Project series.

THRILL ME: THE LEOPOLD & LOEB STORY is a two-character musical drama that is based on the chilling true story of the legendary duo of Richard Loeb and Nathan Leopold, who committed one of the most infamous and heinous crimes of the twentieth century - the senseless murder of a young boy. Focusing on their obsessive relationship and utilizing Leopold's 1958 parole hearing as a framework, THRILL ME explores the series of events in 1924 Chicago that led about-to-be law students Leopold and Loeb to be forever remembered as 'the thrill killers.'

New Theatre (THE NEW) continues it's 'family' theme season with the National New Play Network's Rolling World Premiere of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, running Now through October 30, 2011. This timely and controversial work examines the lives of two all but abandoned teens having to create a makeshift family and its values while getting through the pangs of growing up. New Theatre joins the prestigious Humana Festival of New Plays at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, where it had its first production and the Actor's Express in Atlanta, GA to present the National New Play Network's Rolling World Premiere of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them.
