Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story is celebrating 30 years since its London debut. The national tour of the original jukebox musical re-launches in Stillwater on OSU's campus. The musical features Buddy Holly's well-known musical numbers and is a stylized and glamorous ode to the American songbook.

The 39 Steps is a farcical comedic thriller. The play within a play concept works well here in this parody of the 1935 Hitchcock spy murder mystery. The cast of four play multiple roles in this post-pandemic reopener. The Pollard Theatre in historic Guthrie, OK is back and better than ever.

3rd Act Theatre's Drunk Classics tour is back again for Summer 2021. With stops at breweries around the metro area, this year's production of HAMLET WITH PIRATES is boozy, decadent, and fun. It's laced with audience selected improv edits, a drunk performer, and all the beloved Shakespearean characters in one of The Bard's most robust plays. Arrrgh!

Murder, mystery, and mayhem are on display in Jewel Box Theatre's THE VULTURES. This ensemble piece features a will, a way, and a whacky family who's vying for the fortune and keys to the castle. Jewel Box Theatre's Award Winning play from 2018 comes to life, but not without controversy. The robust play is performed well by the cast of pros.

SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS is a play of silence and seeking. It follows six campers on a Silent Retreat as they seek to understand themselves and each other. Southern Plains Productions, a theatre company born out of the COVID pandemic, presents their opening act at The Myriad Water Stage. The cast must develop their characters with very little dialogue.

3rd Act Theatre Company closes their excellent second season with HEARTBREAK HOUSE. This comical farce from 1920 follows the eccentric Shotover family in an impromptu dinner party in Sussex, at the dawn of World War I. These vapid and self-centered characters are fun to watch on stage. The superb cast banters and incites laughs through Act III.

THE LAST FIVE YEARS is a favorite of Jason Robert Brown's notoriously difficult musicals. It follows a married couple at the end and beginning of their marriage, in chronological and reverse chronological order. The two meet in the middle, and they are each other's undoing. Lawton Community Theatre presents this moving story of heartbreak online.

From Styx to Journey, Poison to REO Speedwagon, the fun filled night of sex appeal and power ballads rocks the Jazz Lab. Ashley Wells directs and Amy Reynolds-Reed choreographs this cast of rockin' UCO students.

Multi-faceted performer Denise Lee celebrates her Diamond Anniversary. The four characteristics of a diamond are cut, color, clarity, and carat. Lee takes her audience through all four Cs of her life and career. As she turns 60, Lee celebrates all she's gone through to become the performer she is today. Monique Midgette directs this original work.

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's INTO THE WOODS is a challenging musical with soaring numbers and magical moments. Choctaw High School's performing arts students have overcome a host of obstacles, including a pandemic and a snow storm, to present a breathtaking and gloriously fun romp through the woods.
