Pursued by a huge snake, the young Prince Tamino sees already his end nearby. At the moment in which he unconscious collapses, three mysterious women show up and kill the beast. But before the young man wakes up again, she left the scene and rush to her mistress - the Queen of the night. As Tamino comes back to himself, enters the scene Papageno bird man. This purports to have killed the snake itself - threatening again approaching the three ladies and convict Papageno of the lie. As punishment, he gets hung a castle in front of the mouth. Tamino pass them a portrait of Pamina, the Queen's daughter. The Prince is immediately falls in love with and the promises then upcoming Queen, Pamina out of the hands of Sarastro, which they robbed, had to free. Papageno was restored the castle which is obliged to accompany the Prince. Three regularly emerging way boys should be the two to the side, like a magic bells and a magic flute. Papageno who was sent ahead by Tamino, soon encounters Pamina, taken during their flight from the evil slave of Monostatos. Papageno manages to beat Monostatos in the escape and for the Prince to win Pamina. When they want to make them, they are surprised by Sarastro and his retinue. Tamino, who recognizes the quality and the mental superiority of Sarastro, enters the site and joined him. To become a full member of the priesthood, he must pass several severe tests but – along with Papageno. Tamino succeeds in an exemplary way to master all the samples and cannot come to the wage where Sarastro Supreme priest and marry Pamina. Papageno, who was not so successful, is nevertheless delighted with one equivalent to his female - Papagena. The reactive power Queen and their followers is defeated...
