ELISABETH IN CONCERT Comes To Austria This Summer

It's one of the most famous tourist hot spots in Vienna and once home of the austrian empress Elisabeth.

The Vereinige Bühnen Vienna are going to host a big Musical Open Air concert at the Castle Schönbrunn on the 5th and 6th of July 2019.

ELISABETH is a Show about the dark and tragical live of Austrias empress Elisabeth. It opend 1992 to poor critics but audiences all over the world felt in love with the Musical, written by Sylvester Levay(Music) and Michael Kunze (Libretto, Lyrics). It has been seen in Belgien, China, Finnland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden and Switzerland and got translated into seven different languages. More than 11 million people have seen the show over the past 25 years.

To celebrate the success, Intendant Christian Struppeck decided to bring the Show back home on a special ocassion. "There is no better place for a concert like this, than the Castle Schönbrunn, once home of our empress", Struppeck said in a press release.

Tickets are already on sale for the so called musical summer highlight of 2019.
