Wearing a hint of tinsel, a pinch of mistletoe & sipping through a truck-load of champagne - get ready to fill your fork, pop your cork, & prance your way into the silly season as Judy Free celebrates A VERY JUDY CHRISTMAS.
Darlene Love once sang "no one ought to be alone on Christmas", so Melbourne's favourite blonde socialite singleton - the flamboyant Judy Free - has decided to throw a bunch of her Hollywood friends, one hell of a fabulous Christmas talk-show soiree.
The only problem - all her "friends" have cancelled.
Left high and dry on the eve of Santa coming down her chimney Judy is in a state of despair. On the verge of cancelling, she is visited by 4 acquaintances who through the art of song teach her how to bring back that Christmas spirit.
Who are these acquaintances? Well that's a surprise.
With a mix of comedy, dancing, and stunning vocal renditions, A VERY JUDY CHRISTMAS takes the best parts of The Ellen Show and SaturdayNight Live and gives them the ultimate GLEE treatment.
With direction by Romi Kia Freedman and starring Brendy Ford (Judy Free)this comedic cabaret talk-show features guest performances by musical theatre talents Stephanie John, Bethany Eloise, Heather Bloom, Raelene Isbester, Anne Gasko, Stephanie Wood, and accompaniment by Jane Matheson.
This festive season laugh yourself silly with Judy as she learns the true meaning of Christmas in this all-singing, all-fabulous, highly camp romp.
