TWO HEARTS Comes to The Butterfly Club In October 2018

Opening to a sell out audience at Sydney's Kings Cross Theatre in October 2018, Two Hearts will open The Butterfly Club's inaugural 1 Act Play Festival in February - March 2019.

Two Hearts is a play about first love.

Set on the third floor of an old townhouse in Carlton, this potent and atmospheric play will have you reflecting on your own past relationships: what you did right, what you did wrong, what you wish you could re-live and what you wish you could forget.

Short and bitter sweet, Two Hearts is for those of us who have lost love and want to find it again.

Two Hearts was written by Laura Lethlean, a young Melbourne playwright and a founding member of The Anchor theatre company. Laura's work has been produced in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. Laura's play 'The Space Between the Fuel and the Fire' was published by No Passport Press in 2016.

The Anchor theatre company is producing Two Hearts. It was co-founded in 2015 by three NIDA graduates; directors Jessica Arthur and Katie Cawthorne, and playwright Laura Lethlean. With a focus on hearing authentic voices on stage, the Anchor generates theatre that explores ideas that people are not always comfortable discussing, but are very comfortable judging. Since its founding in 2015, The Anchor has produced work in Sydney and Canberra. Although its founding members are from Melbourne, Two Hearts will be the first production in The Anchor's hometown.
