GRACE is New show GRACE is a topical solo theatre show brought to stage by British comedian Katie Reddin-Clancy, the talent behind the critically acclaimed show, 'Kate Middleton Show Queen.'

Reddin-Clancy's new show GRACE explores the themes of gender, mental health, spiritualism and the importance of The Arts.

Set in a haunted regional theatre, in the part of the entertainment industry no one wants to know. Creative souls fight to survive.

A comedian, Alfie walks on stage for the first time as a woman. Alfie has had a successful career as part of a comedy double act with partner Grace.

Alfie is exploring their gender fluidity. Repressed femininity explodes onto the stage as Zora finds her voice.

Alfie tells their story by playing all the characters until Zora is ready to talk. He plays: Sheryl - the very British venue hostess, Anna Clamber - the Anna Wintour-esq, power hungry theatrical agent, Audrey - the Joyce Grenville tribute act and their ex-wife Grace.

Directed by the award winning Australian Theatre Company director, Peter Blackburn, GRACE will follow a comedian's journey right through to their first time on stage identifying as a non-binary performer. It's about power, love, letting go and daring to believe.

Katie Reddin-Clancy comments, "GRACE's discussion of gender was inspired by a dear friend who came out as transgender. I was touched by the issues she faced and the ferocity with which she faced them. I hope to do her proud by responding to Stonewall's campaign, 'Come Out For LGBT and be an amazing ally.' I can't wait to return to Melbourne Comedy Festival - the city inspired and supported me in a way I'll never forget. Peter Blackburn is a hero director and I'm honoured to work with him again."

GRACE will premiere in Adelaide Fringe Festival at Tuxedo Cat on 4-18 March. These Australia runs mark the start of GRACE's international tour. The production will travel to the UK for the Brighton Fringe in May and June 2018. Booking is highly recommended.
