The Friends of the Australian Ballet will host a Garden Party at Fairwater, the home of Lady Mary Fairfax, who was the Friends Founding President, on Sunday 8 November.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to come and celebrate The Australian Ballet at one of the most exquisite homes in Sydney, in a truly stunning secret garden.

Ever wondered what magnificence lies behind the high fences and beyond the harbour waters? Meander down the long driveway, past the grand home built in 1882 and into the huge and beautiful private garden. Surrounded by fine old tress and lush greenery, the garden contains a stunning rose garden in full bloom that falls away to Seven Shillings Beach with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour.

Enjoy tea and refreshments in this enchanted environment whilst entertained by performers, storytellers and artisans from the world of theatre.

For lovers of beautiful gardens, and the world of ballet.
