Daniel Oldaker Brings DANDYMAN to The Butterfly Club, Now thru Dec 9
Australia's funniest front man of Circus and Physical Comedy presents a not to be missed night of sublime stupidity. Take a journey of peculiar proportions with Daniel Oldaker as he presents jaw dropping circus, absurd acrobatics and mind-blowing magic with DANDYMAN.
Daniel Oldaker has been creating world-class circus & physical theatre for over 15 years in Melbourne and abroad. He divides his time between the international street theatre circuits of Europe, Asia and North America. His innovative use of everyday ephemera and innate sense of physical comedy have made him a hit on both sides of the globe, including the recent Edinburgh Fringe.
Daniel's energy and originality are unsurpassed. Daniel has achieved perhaps the highest accolade an artist can expect; he is a ''performer's performer', not only enormously entertaining for the public but also a true inspiration to his peers.
Daniel has taken audiences on unforgettable journeys previously from the unique, vaudeville-inspired Bell Boy, to the hilarious and powerfully poetic Live Flavor, audiences can expect absurd variety/cabaret in his new piece Dandyman.
DANDYMAN is fresh and quite literally dripping with comedy goodness and you'll witness beautiful moments collide with absurd chaos.
DANDYMAN plays tonight, 6,7,8,9 December at 9pm Thurs-Sat, 8pm Sunday. All shows take place in The Spare Room at The Butterfly Club. Tickets: $23 Full $18 Conc. Bookings: 03 9690 200 www.thebutterflyclub.com. For more information, visit www.varietyville.com.
