The Outsiders, a Tony Award-winning musical based on S.E. Hinton's classic novel and Francis Ford Coppola's film, captures the struggles of Ponyboy Curtis and his friends in Tulsa, Oklahoma, during the summer of 1967. As members of the Greaser gang, they face challenges from affluent rivals known as the Socs while exploring themes of friendship, belonging, and self-discovery. The musical features a dynamic score co-written by local Americana-folk duo Jamestown Revival and is directed by Tony Award winner Danya Taymor. Performances will take place at Bass Concert Hall from October 21 to October 26, 2025.
