Considered one of the most powerful and influential works of world literature, Hamlet Prince of Denmark has become one of the most beloved and performed shows in Shakespeares canon.Set in the late middle ages, the story of Hamlet begins when the prodigal son (Hamlet) returns home to find his father dead and his mother remarried to his fathers brother. After being visited by the ghost of his father, sharing portents of his murder, Hamlet devises a plan to exact revenge on those he holds responsible.
