Austin-based nonprofit HOME hosts series of events at The Saxon Pub at The Saxon Pub

Austin-based nonprofit HOME, (Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers), has launched a series of events hosted at their longtime supporter The Saxon Pub, (located at 1320 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704) by Board Member Kimmie Rhodes. This series, launched in September, is a continuation of a series launched in 2023 with 100% of proceeds benefiting HOME. On Monday, November 4th, the HOME series will feature music by Ray Benson and hosted by Mitch Ballard of BMI. The show is from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Then the following Monday, November 11th, the series will feature music by Happyland, Austin’s new feel good band made up of Shawn Pander, Johnny Goudie, Harmoni Kelley, John Chipman, Gabriel & Kimmie & Louis Rhodes. The 2024 series launched with “Mr. Texas Night” featuring author Larry Wright alongside Gordon Wright & Marcia Ball telling stories and swapping songs.
