ZACH Theatre will stage the world premiere of the new one-man comedy, Maid marian in a stolen car, playing August 28 - September 21, 2014 on ZACH Theatre's intimate Whisenhunt Stage, 1510 Toomey Rd. Greater Tuna creator and star of ZACH's TRU, Jaston Williams shares a hilarious new play about his life on stage and behind the scenes. True-life stories like his first play in San Antonio, "Hamlet Con Queso," will keep you in stitches!

"Theater is about sharing experiences, and I happen to live in a world full of characters and strange circumstances. Maid Marian In A Stolen Car is a comedy about life, and the moments that may not be funny while they happen to you, but are hysterical when someone else can observe them. Some of the best stories come about when everything goes wrong. Some of my funniest and greatest moments of theatre are notorious disasters that everyone has experienced in one way or another," says Jaston Williams.

"Jaston is the funniest storyteller in Texas. He does a wonderful job of capturing the small details of his characters. Whether recounting the hysterical nuances of Texas families or the funniest, best and most tender moments of living a life on stage - his skill is tremendous," says Dave Steakley, Producing Artistic Director at ZACH Theatre.

MAID Marion in a stolen car is written by Jaston Williams, Directed by SARAH RICHARDSON (of Rude Mechanicals and ZACH's The Laramie Project) with Lighting Design by JASON AMATO, Sound Design by Craig Brock and Properties Design by Scott Groh.
