Jazz-pop balladeer and Lake Travis area native Kevin Ahart will appear as part of The TexARTS Cabaret Series on Friday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. The evening will showcase the charismatic young artist singing original songs from his album "Let's Take the World" and timeless classics such as "Moon River," "Bye, Bye Blackbird" and "Ain't No Sunshine."
Laura Benedict - An Evening of Patsy Cline
Friday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Laura Benedict will take the TexARTS cabaret stage Friday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. Benedict will offer an evening of the iconic music that made Patsy Cline one of the greatest in the history of country music. Expect to relive such hits as "Walkin' After Midnight," "IFall to Pieces," "Crazy," "Sweet Dreams," and more.
Laura Benedict has been a presence in the Austin music scene for over 25 years. She has performed across the U.S. with Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes making two separate appearances at the White House for President George W. Bush. Austin audiences will know Laura from her starring roles in Zach Theatre's "Beehive," "Rockin' Christmas Party," and as Patsy Cline in "Always Patsy Cline."
