Penfold Theatre Company to Host A MARVELOUS PARTY Fundraising Gala, 5/4

Penfold Theatre Company throws its fourth annual fundraising gala, A Marvelous Party on May 4th.

The grounds of the Kindred Oaks estate provide a beautiful, central Texas backdrop for guests to enjoy an elegant meal while singers from Austin's vibrant theatre community delight with selections from Wicked, The Wiz and The Wizard of Oz in honor of the classic film's 75th anniversary. The evening will end with the announcement of Penfold's 2014-15 Season!

The night's crooners include artists familiar to Penfold audiences from past productions, like Andrew Cannata, Ryan Crowder, Sarah Marie Curry, Stephanie Delk, Amy Downing, Robert Faires, Joe Hartman, Stephen Jack, Nathan Jerkins, Jill Leiberknight, Julia Lorenz-Olson, Matthew Redden, Andrea Smith, Haley Smith and Zena Vaughn.

Proceeds from ticket sales, a silent auction and special "wine pull" will support the nonprofit's efforts to bring professional theatre performances and education programs to north Travis and Williamson counties.
