The Hill Country Community Theatre will be raffling off a handmade Christmas ornament created by Mary Dougherty. Mary Dougherty's exceptional hand-painted ornaments have won the honor of decorating Christmas trees in the White House, the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress. A Horseshoe Bay resident, Mary's creative scenic paintings have decorated the Hill Country Community Theatre stage many times.
The Hill Country Community Theatre is a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization and depends upon contributions from the public in order to produce live theatre. The funds generated by this raffle will go directly to HCCT to support its programs and services.
"We are so grateful and honored that Mary created this one of a kind ornament specifically to help the theatre," said Mike Rademaekers, executive director of HCCT. "It is exquisite and unique. The detail is amazing. Mary is truly a gifted artist. I wish I could keep it for my own tree!"
