Cast Announced for 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL at The Hill Country Community Theatre
The Hill Country Community Theatre is delighted to announce principal casting for the final show of its 2016-17 season, "9 to 5: The Musical".
Opening on Thursday, July 20 the show will star Kim Fehlis as Judy Bernly, Glenda Hartman as Violet Newstead, Sally Stemac as Roz Keith, Karrie King as Doralee Rhodes and Anson J. Hahn as Franklin Hart.
"9 to 5: The Musical" is a hilarious musical comedy, based on the hit movie and centers on three office workers who turn the tables on their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot of a boss. They conspire to take control of the company and learn there's nothing they can't do.
Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, "9 to 5: The Musical" is about teaming up and taking care of business. Feisty, fun and oh so fabulous! "9 to 5: The Musical" is written by Patricia Resnick, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. It is directed by Wendy Ferrell with music direction by Les Young. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 2:15 p.m. Sundays.
Tickets go on sale July 13 for the general public. HCCT Season Subscribers may make reservations starting July 10. "9 to 5: The Musical" is for PG-13 audiences. # # # PHOTO: A typical day at the office sees the boss all tied up in this scene from the upcoming Hill Country Community Theatre staging of "9 to 5 The Musical".
