BEHIND THE CURTAIN: Todrick Hall takes a look at making of a musical starring Todrick Hall and a host of characters. Directed by Katherine Wright, it explores the dreams of a young gay African American man growing up in Texas and how he overcame many obstacles in his life. Not only do we explore Hall's career and how he got where he is today but we also get a glimpse of his life through the eyes of a man who has struggled.
As SXSW begins its week of film and music, we are taken into a world where young man dreams of greatness. Hall was on his way to fame and had all the ambition to succeed. This was a dream for young boy who never knew he would go so far. As KINKY BOOTS star Lola, Hall discovered yet another side of his. And now he steps out again from behind the curtain to expose himself to the SXSW audience.
