On Friday, September 23rd at 8pm Dad's Garage Theatre will present Z.O.N.K.E.R.S. The show is directed by Anne Towns and written by Matt Horgan, co-author of the smash hit zombie musical: Song of the Living Dead.

The year is 1986 - Top Gun rules the box office, Madonna's Papa Don't Preach is on the airwaves, and the Cold War is drawing to a close. Albert & Niels are two nerdy adolescents at a summer camp for science & math who are dying to see their first pair of boobs. So much so, that they build their own robot to locate and beam back images of breasts, Boob Bot 2000. However, their plan backfires with disastrous results, earning them the ire of Lt. Col. Pointer, the tyrannical commandant of the adjacent Earheart Space Camp for Young Women. Forced to make a deal with Pointer, the boys must team up with Samantha & Beth, the two smartest girls at space camp to win the big, annual summer camp race. Mentored by "Buzz" Jagger, an alcoholic ex-NASA astronaut and harassed by Miss Von Bruggers, the extremely German space camp RA, the boys & girls must embark on an adventure that takes them from the safe confines of summer camp all the way to the cold void of outer space. Along the way they learn more than a little bit about friendship, romance and just how far a robot will go to see some boobs.
The Cast: Karen Cassady, Perry Frost, Kevin Gillese, Eve Krueger, Ed Morgan, Clint Sowell and Barbara Tushbant
