By:

To Celebrate Mr. Wynton Marsalis's 50th Birthday Trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will return to Atlanta Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 8:00 p.m. to perform a program featuring popular works from Theolonious Monk and Herbie Hancock.

In honor of Mr. Marsalis's 50th birthday, this new tour will feature a retrospective of his past big band compositions and modern renditions of classic jazz favorites. The concert will take place in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.
