Whole World Improv Theatre announces their Holiday event, "A Christmas Improv". Have you ever wondered what happened to Ralphie Parker, who longed for the Red Ryder Air Rifle in the movie "A Christmas Story"? Atlanta's hottest improv troupe presents, in long-format style, Ralphie Parker's story, 25 years later. Through Whole World's famous and hilarious improvisational techniques and games, the audience and the cast write Ralphie's story from the day he got the beloved gift -- together, live, at each performance. "A Christmas Improv" runs Tuesdays through Saturdays (showtimes vary) December 17-30. To view schedule and buy tickets online, visit (http://wholeworldtheatre.com/wwit/), or call the box office (404-817-PLAY [7529]).

"As a cast who loves the classic movie, we wondered what may have become of Ralphie, and we saw scene after hilarious scene play out in our minds," says Artistic Director Chip Powell. "We are excited to continue Ralphie's story with the help of our audience, of course, and see what Ralphie's been up to and where he'll go from here."

The scene: It's been 27 years since Ralphie burst onto the screen with his quest for that famous Red Ryder air rifle. Now he's being released after serving a 25-year sentence for murder committed with that beloved gift. Who did he kill? How did it happen? What's next for Ralphie? Every night the audience will make these decisions for the cast and laugh as the scenes unfold through Whole World's signature improv games and techniques.

Tickets are available online, or by phone at 404-817-PLAY(7529). Walk ups are subject to availability each night at the door, though advance purchase is highly recommended as most shows sell out ahead of time.
