Performer's Warehouse to Present Intimate THE LAST FIVE YEARS

The Performer's Warehouse (PW) is excited to present Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown's striking and intimate musical, The Last Five Years, as the first production in their Emerging Artists Series. The show will run Thursday, July 26 - Sunday, August 5 (Matinees 3:00PM & Evening Performances 7:30PM) and features rising professional actors Jacob Valleroy and Jess Berzack.

The Last Five Years follows the story of Jamie and Cathy, two young-twenties New Yorkers who leap into marriage while still in the "honeymoon" phase of their whirlwind romance. As they try desperately to cling together, professional ambitions begin to drive a wedge between them. Given separately from their own points of view, Cathy's journey is sung from end to beginning, and Jamie's from beginning to end. An honest, funny, and passionate story, along with its breathtaking, romantic score, The Last Five Years holds nothing back in detailing the beauty of binding together in love - and the crushing heartbreak when it falls apart.

Tickets for The Last Five Years ($30) are available for the general public online at www.PerformersWH.com and will be available for purchase at the door, as well. Audiences and performers are encouraged to register on the website to receive regular updates about upcoming events and productions.

Holly Garmon, Executive Director of The Performer's Warehouse says, "We are excited to feature guest director Michael Vine of the Georgia Ensemble Theatre and shine a spotlight on two incredibly talented performers. The Emerging Artists Series is such a unique opportunity to showcase new talent and will continue throughout our 2018-2019 season."

"I am absolutely thrilled to be working with the amazing Jess Berzack (Cathy)," Jacob Valleroy (Jamie) explains. "We look forward to sharing this story and bringing Jason Robert Brown's hauntingly beautiful score to the audiences at The Performer's Warehouse!"
