Patsy Cline's Memory And Music Shine At Legacy Theatre

"Crazy", "Walkin' After Midnight", "I Fall to Pieces" and more legendary songs are live on stage in Always Patsy Cline! This Country favorite opens January 25th and runs through February 24th.

Written by Ted Swindley, Always...Patsy Cline tells the true story of a remarkable friendship between the County Music Superstar, Patsy Cline and a brassy, Houston housewife, Louise Seger. Taking place over a few years between Nashville and Texas, the show follows the singer's career through the eyes of a super fan and dear friend. Filled with heartfelt moments and down home country humor, this show has been one of the most produced musicals in America!

"I think audiences will love this show from beginning to end," says director, Rachael Endrizzi. "You've got all the hits of Patsy Cline, but an amazing and hilarious story of two incredible ladies. I think this show has all the magic of Patsy's songs, which the audience expects- but also an entertaining and touching true story they might not see coming."

"I am really looking forward to opening this show," says Artistic Director Mark Smith. "The performers are really incredible and the designs are stunning." Starring in this production is Alabama Native and Tennessee performer, Kelli Dodd (Appalachian Christmas Homecoming, Footloose) as Patsy Cline and Amy Bridges (Appalachian Christmas Homecoming, Music Man) as Louise Seger. The show also features a live band led by Ed Thrower and an inventive scenic design by Phil Male.

The Legacy's thirteenth season continues after Always...Patsy Cline with the new musical The Bridges of Madison County, based on the blockbuster feature film and best selling novel. Finishing out the season, direct from Broadway is the amazing smash hit, Matilda running July 5th-August 4th 2019.
