LA CUCARACHITA MARTINA to Rock and Roll at Center for Puppetry Arts
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Center for Puppetry Arts is pleased to present Teatro SEA's La Cucarachita Martina (Martina the Little Roach) from September 28 - October 9.
When Martina discovers a penny and buys a tin of face powder, suddenly everyone wants to marry her; but what she really wants is friendship, kindness, thoughtfulness and sharing. This production is based on a well-known Puerto Rican and Cuban children's tale and is peppered with Latin rock 'n' roll musical numbers. This bilingual show is performed in both English and Spanish.

TICKETS are available for $10.25 (Members) and $20.50 (Nonmembers). Tickets include admission to the show, the Worlds of Puppetry Museum (with the largest collection of Jim Henson puppets and artifacts in the world as well as a Global Gallery) and entrance to the Create-A-Puppet Workshop, where guests can make and decorate their own Radiant Roach Marionette and perform with it on the classroom stage.
